Te Aroha Racing Predictions (Free) - 7 March 2025
Some hot picks for a tidy seven race meet at Te Aroha below!
Two wins at Waverley yesterday LINK. It’s been made aware to me that Waverley tips (for some reason) go into the ‘Promo’ inboxes of some people, so watch out for that. Remember:

Top Six Picks of the Day
Race 1 - Josh Smith Bayleys Commercial HCP60 1150m
#4 Mi Bella - Is paying: $2.80; Should be paying: $2.40
Edge: Dual acceptor targeting this race. Won over this course and distance on late November and has a good record at this track (2 1-0-1). Last three runs show form figures of 8-9-8, but against stronger competition than today's race. Drawn wide last start and was impeded down straight last start. Began awkwardly start before that. Effective on good tracks with form figures of 4 1-1-1 record on good tracks.
Race 2 - Saddlery Warehouse MDN 2200m
#5 Avoriaz - Is paying: $3.10; Should be paying: $2.60
Edge: Has been racing at this distance decently. Previously placed 3rd at Te Rapa over 2100m two starts back, despite being obstructed and losing its whip. Draws the inside barrier which should ensure an economical run.
Race 3 - Entain/NZB Insurance Pearl Series MDN 1150m
#1 Graces Gift - Is paying: $9.00; Should be paying: $7.00
Edge: Three starts in last six months since a big (2 years+) spell. First two start of these forgettable on Soft 7 and Heavy tracks. Last start 4th beaten only 2.3L last at Te Aroha at this distance. High upside given improvement, and continuation onto good track today.
Race 4 - Blue Pacific Minerals MDN 1150m
#5 Montana Bay - Is paying: $7.50; Should be paying: $6.00
Edge: Has been placed in 7 of 15 career starts, and has a good record at this track (4 0-2-1). Easiest field he has for the last three races. Combined with decent good track record, offers great value.
Race 6 - Ecolab BM65 1600m
#3 Lachie - Is paying: $3.50; Should be paying: $2.80
Edge: In-form 3YO with upward trajectory. Broke maiden status nicely at Te Rapa over 1600m three races back. Has finished in the first three in 5 of 8 starts. He appears to be still improving and draw from 6 is nice given the tactical speed he has shown.
Race 7 - Kaimai Vets MDN 1600m
#1 Not Usual Pick - Is paying: $3.80; Should be paying: $3.00
Edge: Finished 2nd beaten only 0.1L last start at Pukekohe over 1600m on February 23, and had a failed protest to win. Previous start 3rd beaten 1.0L at Te Rapa over 1300m. Clearly good at the mile - is one of two good chances (the other being Protheatrics #4) but has higher upside.
